Roshan Kristine Valentine-Miller

Kristine began practicing asana yoga back in 1997, but her understanding of yoga shifted in 2007 when, with one year of sobriety under her belt, she visited Amrit Yoga Institute for the first time. Under the guidance of Yogi Amrit Desai (Gurudev), Kamini Desai, Eric W., and Chandrakant, Kristine experienced first-hand that yoga is so much more than a posture, it’s a map for life, and one that perfectly complements the principles of 12 Step Recovery.

Since her initial 200-hour yoga teacher training, Kristine developed a true passion for yoga and dedicated herself to continue learning about the vast offerings of yoga, and is now certified as a YACEP (yoga alliance continuing education provider). Along with founding Ocala Yoga Center, Kristine now leads numerous workshops and trainings, invoking the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga into her own authentic and unique teachings.

Kristine’s teachings focus on using breath, alignment and a sense of playfulness to help her students get out of their heads and into their hearts!
